I will be teaching Social Media & Audience Profiling next week in the UCI Extension Business School. As part of the course materials, I made a PowerPoint presentation explaining some of the basics of network properties to provide some background. Call me crazy, but I think it helps to understand a little of the theory of how networks work if you're going to make the most of social media.
